Almanzor ends Tattersalls Book 1 as the leading first season sir by average

The popularity of Almanzor's first crop of yearlings as been seen at Arqana in September and continued at Book 1 of Tattersalls October Yearling Sale. 

Le highest price went through on the final day when American agent Mike Ryan bought lot 517 for 250.000gns. The colt, is out of the Gr.2 placed and already dam of a BT winner, Waldjagd and was consigned by Haras de Saint-Pair. 

Earlier in the sale, Etreham's bred colt consigned as lot 336 by Norris Bloodstock has made 210.000gns and another colt consigned by Kilminfoyle House Stud was bought 185.000gns by Frederico Barberini.
