ONE OF SEA THE MOON'S BEST SONS
With three consecutive wins to kick off his 3yo career, followed by second place in the Gr.3 Prix Noailles,
Pretty Tiger won the Prix Eugene Adam Gr.2 from pillar to post in July of the same season.
Tough and consistent, he finished a good second in the Prix Guillaume d’Ornano Gr.2 at Deauville a month later.
Winner of the Grand Prix de la Cote d’Azur Listed on his seasonal debut at four,
then of the Prix Exbury Gr.3 ahead of Hurricane Dream and Skalleti, he was just beaten in the
Prix Ganay Gr.1, finishing second in front of Sealiway, with the fastest final 200m of all the runners,
and then a good third in the Prix d’Ispahan Gr.1 over a distance shorter than ideal.
Pretty Tiger concluded a remarkable 17-race career, after racing from age 2 to 5 years old,
during which he beat 6 Gr.1 winners, collecting
6 victories including 4 at black-type level, and 6 places of which 4 were in Group company.
A career at stud now awaits this handsome and imposing dark bay, whose high-class pedigree
features inbreeding to the great Allegretta.
The Haras de Cercy and the Haras d'Etreham have joined forces for the stallion career of Pretty Tiger
who will stand alternate years at each stud, beginning at the Haras de la Tuilerie (in 2024) and the Haras de Cercy (in 2025).
