Due to expansion, the Haras d’Etreham announces a reorganisation of the commercial team.

A reference in the European breeding and stallion industry, the Haras d’Etreham is now managed by the fourth generation of the Chambure family and will soon celebrate 80 years of existence. While flat stallions have been an integral part of the stud’s operation since its creation, the activity of jumps sires has developed over the past 20 years following the arrival of champion Saint Des Saints. On the strength of this expansion in both spheres, the time is right for the Haras d’Etreham to reorganise its commercial team.

The commercialisation of the stallions based at the Normandy stud, which now counts eight sires in the two disciplines, has been carried out over the past 20 years by Franck Champion. His role will now be focused upon the development and perpetuation of the stud’s National Hunt activity.

The commercialisation of flat sires will now be split between Haras d’Etreham Stud Manager Ludivine Marchand, and Alice Lemal who joined the operation as assistant to Franck Champion two years ago. The latter will continue to strengthen her marketing role in both disciplines.

In this way, the Haras d’Etreham demonstrates its ambition to offer excellence to breeders from France and abroad.

Nicolas de Chambure explained, “We are determined to pursue our investment and development in both disciplines. This has already been demonstrated by the partnership with the Haras de la Tuilerie which has provided us with a dedicated site for jumps stallions. Franck has been the pillar of the commercial arm of the stud for over 20 years and we owe him our presence and success in the jumping sphere of activity. We are delighted that he will continue to work with our teams and in close collaboration with Guillaume and Camille Sarda at La Tuilerie.”
