has a brilliant 65% winners per runners with his first crop.

15 october 2024, City Light is currently the leading sire of 3yos by the number of wins
ahead of Siyouni and Wootton Bassett (Sourced France Galop).

He is the sire of three 2yos Black Type performers in 2024
including Relaxx, 3rd in the Prix Six Perfections Gr.3.

Competitive from 2 to 5 years old at Gr.1 level over distances from 6 to 7 furlongs,
City Light is the only son of Siyouni with Gr.1 form over 6 furlongs. 

He was successful in the Gr.3 Prix de Saint-Georges and Prix du Pin,
was beaten just a short head in the Gr.1 Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot,
and finished second to three-time victrix One Master in the Gr.1 Prix de la Forêt.

City Light is a vector of the speed genes carried by Siyouni, Kendor and Luthier
which have had such an important influence on French bloodstock. 

Thanks to strong support from shareholders and from many of France’s leading breeders,
City Light covered 137 mares in his first season, 119 in 2021, 112 in 2022 and 120 in 2023.
He was fully booked in 2024, covering 150 mares.

His yearlings, in 2023, were sold for up to over 12 times his covering fee, 
bought by Meridian International, Chantilly Bloodstock, John Hammond, 
Mandore Internatiol, Barberini Bloodstock, Carlos et Yann Lerner, Stephane Wattel, Infinity Nine Horses...
