A triumphant weekend for Persian King ! 5 winners in 2 days !
Within the few months in which the season has started , Persian King’s strong results continue week after week.
This past weekend of 21–22 March is a perfect illustration, with five winners in two days. These performances beautifully showcase the versatility and excellent quality of his progeny.
-
DARYA (second crop) won impressively by 2¾ lengths in a Maiden Special Weight at Santa Anita. Trained by Philip D'Amato, this 3-year-old filly shows significant potential and looks destined to be a Grade performing candidate this year.
-
Darius Cen (first crop) produced a superb winning reappearance in a Class 1, confirming his talent after his Listed victory in 2025 (Prix Omnium II). He should quickly be back on the path to Graded races.
-
Sénatrice (second crop) recorded her second win in March, confirming her earlier maiden victory previously this month.
-
Persis (second crop), on her 2026 reappearance, won her maiden, showing good physical condition and successful preparation, suggesting an encouraging margin of improvement.
-
Golden Brown (first crop), like Sénatrice, notched a second victory this month, demonstrating consistency and progression.
These results, combined with other recent wins by his offspring (such as Pearled Majesty at Saint-Cloud in early March in the Prix Gris Perle — entered in the Prix Noailles and the Prix du Jockey Club), position Persian King as one of the stallions to follow in 2026.
