Sire of the winner of the Gr.1 Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris,
Masked Marvel counts in 2022 alone 16 black-type performances among his progeny, including 9 victories.

The son of Montjeu has generated great interest in France and abroad. In 2022, his offspring have changed hands for up to 20 times his covering fee, reaching sums of £130,000, 110,000€, 100,000€, 85,000€, 82,000€ etc.

His stores sold for up to €200,000 at the 2023 Arqana Autumn Sale

Winner at 2yo, Masked Marvel landed the Gr.3 Bahrain Trophy and the legendary classic Gr.1 Ladbrokes Saint Léger at 3.

Then he was crowned as the 2011 Champion stayer in England.

He is from the family of four-time Gr.1 winner, including the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, Waldgeist.

As a stallion, he is already provided by 17 Blacktype performers including
SEL JEM, winner of the 2022 Gr.1 Grand Steeple Chase de Paris at Auteuil; 
the six-time Group winner including the Gr.1 Hatton's Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse, TEAHUPOO;
the dual Gr.3 winner and Gr.2 placed, LA DANZA; 
LEAVE OF ABSENCE,  3rd in the Gr.2 Open National Hunt flat race at Aintree, and
MAGIC MARVEL, winner of the Listed Prix Philippe Menager .

Masked Marvel is limited to 100 mares each year.

He will be represented by 95 4-year-olds and 85 3-year-olds in 2024.

His internationally-acclaimed progenies, bought by Highflyer Bloodstock, PB Bloodstock, Harold Kirk, W. Mullins, etc., are all well known.
